The History of Ciroc

Ciroc vodka was first produced in France in 2003. The brand is owned by Diageo, a multinational alcoholic beverage company.

Ciroc vodka has a long and interesting history.

The brand was founded in 2003 by Jean-Sebastien Robicquet, a French businessman passionate about distilling high-quality vodka. Robicquet was inspired to create Ciroc vodka after learning about the traditional methods used to produce Cognac, a type of brandy made in the Cognac region of France.

He worked with a team of expert distillers to develop a unique vodka made from grapes, which he believed would be smoother and more refined than traditional vodka made from grains or potatoes.

The name “Ciroc” is derived from two French words: cime (peak) and roche (rock). The brand’s vodka is made from grapes that are harvested from the Gaillac and Cognac regions of France.

The blend of grapes used to make Ciroc vodkas is made with Mauzac Blanc, Ugni Blanc, and Merlot. Ciroc vodka is known for its smooth and refined taste.

Is Ciroc High End?

Ciroc vodka is a premium or high-end vodka due to the quality of its ingredients and the attention to detail that goes into its production.

It’s made from fine French grapes harvested from France’s Gaillac and Cognac regions and is distilled using a traditional distillation process to create a smooth, refined taste.

French grapes set Ciroc apart from many other vodkas, typically made from grains such as wheat, rye, or barley.

The grapes used to make  Ciroc vodka are cold fermented and distilled to create the base vodka, which is then blended with natural ingredients to create the various flavors.

In addition to its smooth and refined taste,  Ciroc vodka is known for its luxurious image, which has helped to establish it as a high-end vodka. It’s often served at upscale events and parties and is considered a premium choice among vodka drinkers.

In addition to its original flavor, Ciroc also offers a range of flavored vodkas, including red berry, coconut, pineapple, mango, and apple. These flavors are created using natural ingredients and are blended with the base vodka to create the finished product.

Ciroc vodka is available in several bottle sizes, including 1 liter, 750 milliliters, and 50 milliliters. The 1-liter bottles are a convenient size for home use or for serving at parties and events. The smaller bottles are great for mixing cocktails or for trying out different flavors.

How to Drink Ciroc?

Ciroc vodka can be enjoyed neat, which means served chilled and without any mixers. To drink Ciroc vodka neat, pour a shot (1.5 oz) of Ciroc into a chilled shot glass or small glass.

Take a sip, and then let the vodka sit in your mouth for a moment to allow the flavors to fully develop before swallowing.

If you prefer, you can also drink Ciroc vodka over ice. Simply fill a rocks glass with ice, pour a shot (1.5 oz) of Ciroc over the ice, and then sip slowly.

Alternatively, you can mix Ciroc vodka with a splash of water or a mixer like tonic water, soda water, or cranberry juice. This can help to dilute the vodka and make it more palatable for some people.
