If you like the root beer flavor, you will certainly enjoy the combination of vodka and root beer. Root beer is a North American sweet, carbonated soft drink traditionally made with the root bark of the sassafras tree.

But today, the companies that produce root beer are not using sassafras root bark because it turns out that the aromatic oil safrole found in this bark is bad for people’s health. Therefore, they use artificial sassafras flavors and natural extracts free of safrole.

Root beer is usually non-alcoholic, caffeine free, and a good drink you can use to mix with vodka. It has a sweet, bitter, slightly salty flavor with hints of vanilla, anise, licorice, wintergreen, cinnamon, nutmeg, acacia, cherry bark, sweet birch, and others.

To make a drink with root beer and vodka, you will need 1 ½ oz vodka and 4 oz root beer. Add ice cubes to a pint glass and pour vodka and chilled root beer. Top it with 2-3 tablespoons whipped cream, garnish with Maraschino cherry and serve.

Is Vodka and Sprite a Good Mix?

Vodka and Sprite are a good mix that has a great lemon-lime flavor. It’s one of the most refreshing and delicious drinks you can make. But of course, it all depends on your taste and the taste that you want to accomplish mixing vodka with soda.

How Do You Make Vodka Taste Good?

Quality vodka tastes good on its own, and you don’t need to make it taste good. It has a silky, oily texture and is smooth, clean, and pleasant to drink on its own and enjoy in its flavor. While low-quality vodka has a certain burn that you feel in your mouth and throat, it also gives you a bad hangover with headaches.

Therefore, you can use soda, fruit juices, or other mixers to mask the vodka flavor and make it taste good. The price of the vodka doesn’t determine its quality—there are expensive vodkas that taste bad and cheaper vodkas that taste like expensive ones. So don’t be fooled by the price.
