Tin Roof Drink Community is Claire Sprouse and Chad Arnholt.

Their goal is to create a culture of shared information and practices within the cocktail industry.

They have lectured at Portland Cocktail Week, Bar Institute, Tales of the Cocktail, San Antonio Cocktail Conference, Star Chefs’ International Chefs Congress, Bar Convent Brooklyn, and other industry and public-facing platforms. In 2016, Tin Roof received the first annual TOTC Sustainable Spirit Award. After spearheading and curating 2017’s Sustainability Summit, Claire & Chad were awarded the TOTC’s Golden Spirit Award for education.

Tin Roof has committed their focus to what has become the industry’s utmost concern—SUSTAINABILITY; spotlighting green bar initiatives through sustainable design projects, beverage programing, educational initiatives, individual consultations, and community outreach.

CHAD ARNHOLT is a New York based bartender. He got his start in the vibrant Boston scene and has since tended clubs, dives, restaurants, and cocktail joints across San Francisco, Houston, and New York. His time behind the stick includes Trick Dog and Treasury in San Francisco, Boston’s Citizen Public House, and now Jupiter Disco and Diamond Reef in Brooklyn. He received his MFA from Tufts University.

CLAIRE SPROUSE originally hails from Houston, Texas, where she helped establish the city’s cocktail scene before relocating to San Francisco in 2012. Her time there was spent driving beverage programs and fundraising through industry events for non-profits, and working behind bars like Rickhouse, Comstock Saloon, ABV, The Treasury, and The Hideout at Dalva.  Claire is taking on a new role as owner at her upcoming bar space, Hunky Dory, opening in fall of 2018 in Brooklyn NY.
